Tracy Meyer graduated from Taylorville High School and attended Sparks Business School and Brown's Business College. She is married to Doug and, between them, they have 6 children and 11 grandchildren. She has been a resident of the community since 1972. Her family moved to Taylorville from Sandwich, Illinois and her father started his own construction company, "Kenneth McCaslin Foundations."
Tracy's past work experience has been mostly in the Agriculture market, although she did work at Hopper Paper-Georgia Pacific for 5 years. She worked in the Human Resource department until the plant closed. Tracy then took a position with GSI, in Assumption, in the Accounting Department. After two years, she was promoted to a Senior Buyer in the corporate purchasing department, where she worked for 10 years negotiating corporate contracts with suppliers. Tracy also worked at Union Iron Works in Decatur, as Purchasing Manager, negotiating corporate commodity purchase agreements.
Due to her past work experience, Tracy's strength is excellent negotiation and communication skills. Those skills will serve her well in her position at Kennedy Real Estate,LLC.
Tracy has been a past member of Sertoma Club, ran for school board, is a current member of the Moose, Monday Night Ladies golf league, and is currently enjoying serving on the "Committee to Save Lakeshore Golf Course." Her passion is playing golf and enjoying her grandchildren.
